Jake White is a father of three and a true master at his craft. His most recent toddler hack won the love of the internet. Parents can take a note from this dad’s book. Fighting distracted driving should be a major priority. That means creative ways to keep those kids from fighting.

Jake and his wife are busy parents with their hands full. The triplets are described by their father as “the coolest” but we all know what happens to toddlers in the back seat of the car. It’s a whole different ball game back there.

The clever father was often distracted by the cuties as they would fight over each other’s snack and drinks loudly and messily. The simple DIY project consisted of him simply cutting some foam core and separated them.

Now the kids can’t see, reach, or get their hands on one another. Genius! The volume in the car is way lower without the screaming and fighting.

Around 10% of collisions are caused by distracted driving. While texting and driving is normally the most common, passengers can be a distraction as well. Even if they are small and very very cute.
