Cow Calling may not be the first thing on your list for a good time but the Roberts County Cow Calling contest may change your mind. This peculiar event is a part of a festival that’s held annually and brings travelers from far and wide to call cows to them. It also features a steak cook-off and other games and activities.

Education

The White Deer Land Museum educates communities about the White Deer Land collective of investors that helps initially build and then grow many of the towns in the panhandle. It’s filled with creative projects and historical artifacts from the area.

Roberts County Municipal Court is located downtown on East Commercial St. The county permits ticket dismissal through defensive driving for eligible tickets. You can find the Roberts County Approved defensive driving class online.

US Route 60 and Texas State Highway 70 both run through this county.
