Rusk County Texas Defensive Driving

Rusk County is in east-central Texas between Longview and Nacogdoches. The area was largely unpopulated till the Cherokee Indians showed up in about 1820 only to be driven out of the area 20 years later. There is some beautiful country in Rusk County. Martin Lake and Martin Creek Lake State Park which have some wonderful fishing are right up by Dirgin. Right in the center of the county is Henderson, which is the county seat, you will find a wide selection of bars, saloons, restaurants, and pubs. If you enjoy nightlife there is a lot to do. Jus t make sure you always drive safely and if you intend to drink, always designate a sober driver.
