Tips for Texans in Autumn
Tips for Texans in Autumn
Is it getting chilly in your town? The hotter the summers, the longer they feel. Enjoy the sweet relief from the heat, while it lasts, with these tips for Texas in the great autumn season.
Roll the Windows Down
Studies show that cold air is good for your mind, body, and soul. Pretend the air is cold in hopes of creating a placebo effect. You may also enjoy that you are no longer breaking a sweat by simply having the windows down.
Get a Winter Coat
Nothing looks classier than having a coat hanging from the hook by the door. You probably don’t need to put it on. Not wearing it is better for the longevity of its use as a decoration. Take it into the car to cover your valuables when your car is parked on a sketchy street.
Have a Fire
Lighting a pumpkin spice candle on the coffee table or in the bathroom can give your house a real fall feel. As soon as you walk into the house, you’ll forget it’s still 80 degrees outside. Tiny fires are cuter anyway.
Air Up Your Tires
The temperature change can make a tire look a little flatter. You may also have not aired-up your tires in a long time because it’s been too hot to stand outside of your vehicle for more than 3 minutes.
Live It Up!
This week and a half of fall only comes once a year, so be sure you savor every second of it!
